In 2006 when Site Admin Candice Woody moved from Japan back to her home town in Baltimore, Maryland, she was eager to meet other new moms that shared similar interests. After searching local groups and finding many dead ends, Candice stumbled upon The Mommies Network. Surprisingly there wasn't a group formed in the highly populated area of Baltimore, so she knew what she had to do. So in Spring of 2007 BaltimoreMommies.com was born.

BaltimoreMommies.com was founded on April 15th, 2007 and currently has 848 active members.
